A. Job Description Objective
The Technical Trainer has key accountabilities in the design, development, delivery and support of technical training programs furthering the mission, vision and technology of LabVantage. The Technical Trainer primary responsibilities include needs assessments, courseware development for in class/online delivery and delivery using multiple methods and modalities. S/he is responsible for responsible for learning success within LabVantage, training customers and will collaborate and partner with resources across the LabVantage organization in order to improve educational impact. The position will identify learning objectives, create training classes and material and deliver/facilitate, as needed. Learning interventions consist of formal classroom training, presentations, support sessions, virtual training, group training and hosting CTEC. Familiar with a variety of training development concepts, practices and procedures included blended learning approaches. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Works with other members of the training staff to achieve measurable results. Seeks to learn and use new and emerging processes and technology to enhance the learner experience based on foundational knowledge of adult educational and learning principles. We are looking for educators who have experience with laboratory information management software systems.
