At this year’s CTEC, we will review the newest updates to the LabVantage platform.

As part of our LabVantage 8.9 release, which will release in early 2024, you will get a preview of the improvements we’re making to the Stability module, functionality for Intelligent LIMS using AI/ML, medical examiner for forensics, dashboards for Portal, and many additional customer-requested enhancements we’ve received through Vantage Care.

In LabVantage 8.8, which was released in December 2022, we introduced our we introduced the Handsfree Installer, added various improvements to the Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) module, enhancements for biobanking, and other new features throughout the system.

As always, you will have plenty of opportunities to network with other organizations within your industry, meet with LabVantage project teams, and attend training sessions.

CTEC North America Event and Registration Details

This year’s event will be held at the exciting Park MGM Las Vegas. This newly updated megaresort is located at the center of the Las Vegas Strip and has beautiful conference facilities to enjoy for our event. Do you desire to arrive early or stay late? The Park MGM has easy access to plentiful shopping, a wide variety of restaurants, and world-class entertainment.

Transportation from the Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) to the Park MGM is on your own, but readily available.

The event starts on Sunday, April 14th with a Welcome Reception at 6:30 p.m. Here you will have the opportunity to network while enjoying delicious drinks, desserts, and snacks. We suggest arriving at the Las Vegas airport by 4:30 p.m. to register and settle into the hotel before starting the night’s festivities.

As always, our Tuesday evening social event is dedicated to making connections with LabVantage staff and among our customers. This year’s event will be held at BrewDog Las Vegas, situated across the street from the Park MGM resort, offers the ultimate entertainment experience. The rooftop bar provides a 360-degree panoramic view of the Las Vegas strip, immersing you in the city’s vibrant atmosphere. Savor one of the many incredible craft beers and enjoy playing some traditional bar games. BrewDog offers a unique and exciting way to spend an evening with colleagues and LabVantage staff.

For those receiving LabVantage training, classes begin Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. after the main conference ends. Training will continue all day Thursday, into Friday, and end at noon. The Las Vegas Airport is a short 20-minute ride from the hotel so plan your flights accordingly.

Wish to bring the family along? Arrive early? Stay late? There are many family-friendly attractions like the High Roller Observation Wheel, Mystère by Cirque du Soleil at Treasure Island, and many close destinations like tours to the Hoover Dam.

Worried about committing? We have a very liberal cancelation policy this year: If your registration is canceled on or before March 1, 2024, you will be refunded 100%. If canceled after March 1st, you will be refunded 50%. Please contact the hotel directly to cancel rooming. Canceling your CTEC registration does not automatically cancel your hotel reservation.
