This year’s conference will showcase the release of SAPPHIRE R5, with the majority of the program dedicated to describing and demonstrating its enhanced functionality and rich feature set.

Training Workshops
This year we are offering two post-conference training workshops. The workshops will follow the main conference and are scheduled for June 12th from 9AM to 5PM and June 13th from 9AM to 3PM. Attendance is limited to 12 trainees per class, so we encourage you to sign up early.
New SAPPHIRE R5 EVERGREEN™ Features: This class will focus on the new EVERGREEN features released since R4.4 including new elements, pages types and advanced properties. Attendees should have completed an EVERGREEN class and be familiar with the SAPPHIRE EVERGREEN tool.
SAPPHIRE Reporting with Jasper: This is a basic class covering report writing concepts using Jasper with SAPPHIRE R5. Learn how to write basic Jasper reports, register the reports within SAPPHIRE and generate reports in PDF or Excel format. Attendees should have some basic SQL query experience. No other pre-requisites are required.
Note: Workshops take place simultaneously and therefore you can only attend one. |

Evening Event
While in Las Vegas, join us for an Evening Event with the LabVantage staff and your fellow conference attendees. Details of this LabVantage sponsored event will follow. Since "Vegas" is a town built on excitement, narrowing the event choices is proving to be fun and interesting task! |

Having added many new SAPPHIRE customers in 2007, we encourage new and veteran attendees alike who wish to speak and participate in this year’s conference to contact Carla Vandra, cvandra@labvantage.com.
As an incentive, presenters chosen to speak earn a 50% discount off the registration fees and if desired, LabVantage staff will assist you in the subject matter and creation of your presentation. |

One-on-One Consultation Session
Don’t miss the opportunity to take advantage of this 90-minute open consultation session to speak with LabVantage staff members about your specific site and configuration, and what you can do to make it even more efficient and cost effective. Any topic may be requested. The consultation session topic is gathered during the conference registration process so we may match you with the best resource(s) to discuss your desired topic. The number of 90-minute consultations are limited so make sure you sign up early. |
Travel and Hotel Information
Destination Airport: McCarran International Airport - LAS
The Venetian Resort Hotel is a short taxi ride from McCarran International Airport.
June 8th is the recommended day of arrival.
The Venetian Resort Hotel has a room block for the LabVantage customers. You must contact the Hotel directly to make your reservations. The room block will be held until May 2, 2008. After that time, the room rate of $159 per night and availability will not be guaranteed. |
