| LabVantage 2001 Order Bookings Grow 33% |

Bridgewater, NJ February 27, 2002 Informatics Growth Particularly Strong in North America and Europe.
LabVantage Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of virtual laboratory solutions for LIMS and Scientific Information Productionsm (SIPsm) solutions for discovery, announced today that 2001 bookings grew 33% over the prior year, fueled by market demand for LabVantage Sapphire™ 3.0, the company's browser/server-based solution.
