| LabVantage 2002 User Group Conference A Success |

Bridgewater, NJ February 25, 2002. Conference Highlighted by Excellent Attendance and Randy Hice Keynote
LabVantage Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of virtual laboratory solutions for LIMS and Scientific Information Productionsm (SIPsm) solutions for drug discovery, announced that its recent, annual User Group Conference at the Radisson Sand Key resort in Clearwater Beach, Florida was a great success as customers had the opportunity to learn, exchange ideas and preview upcoming product releases.
The theme of this year's meeting was "The Power to Change" and focused on helping LabVantage customers provide business benefit to their enterprise. Industry expert, Randy C. Hice president of the Laboratory Expertise Center, was the keynote speaker and delivered an important industry presentation entitled, "Structured Workflow Analysis".
Technical topics covered areas such as: Specifications and Automated Scheduling, Reporting, System Administration, Building Workflows, and Screen and Database Design. Customers who provided papers included: Carpenter Technologies, Excel Corporation, Dupont, Valero Energy Corporation and Dakota Gasification.
