Warwickshire, United Kingdom October 10, 2000. Enterprise Laboratory Solution Helps Users Expand Ability to Evaluate the Quality of Materials Against Unlimited Sets of Specifications.
LabVantage Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of laboratory information solutions and ASP services, announced today at its annual European User Conference, User Symposium 2000, the release of Version 1.3 of its LabVantage Sapphire™ laboratory software solution.
The new release of Sapphire™ can provide global laboratories with the ability to batch-match and evaluate the quality of materials against an unlimited set of specifications. In addition to performing traditional evaluations Sapphire™ allows users to establish complex conditional relationships. Therefore, based on the results of one specification test, the system can automatically set or adjust additional specifications, perform measurements against calculated values, and trigger events such as sending e-mail notification to a manager or requesting a re-test of the sample. The new release of Sapphire™ also provides complete support of 21 CFR Part 11 Electronic Signature.
