Moreover, you will see first-hand how the new features of SAPPHIRE R5.1 further enhance your laboratory processes. This is a full day course. |

Connecting Instruments to SQL*LIMS
In this training course we will explore instrument interfacing with the IDM LIMSLink product. We will look at the basic fundamentals of parsing various data types and building of displays and reports. There will be a hands on approach as the participants will be given a variety of different data process. At the end of the training customers are encouraged to bring some of their own data, and we can evaluate how IDM LIMSLink can help you in your lab. This is a half day AM course.
Managing Your SQL*LIMS V5.1
This course will give you an overview of SQL*LIMS v5.1 system’s components and how they fit into the landscape of your server topology. You will be given guidelines for what you need to do during backup and recovery procedures, where to look for log files, how to apply patches, and where to make system configuration changes. You will be able to expand your knowledge of your SQL*LIMS application. This is a half day PM course. |

Managing the SQL*LIMS Monitors
This training session is recommended for SQL*LIMS systems managers or IT professionals who needs an in-depth understanding of what’s happening on the various servers in a SQL*LIMS setup. This workshop will focus on the SQL*LIMS v5.1 business logic tier services. While the session will target v5.1 administrators specifically, the information provided will also be applicable to a v5.0 installation. This is a half day AM course.
Getting the Most Out of the SQL*LIMS Dashboard
This session provides an overview of Dashboard functionality. Learn how to leverage the dashboard so that individual users can quickly find the information integral to their specific job functions. Exercises will allow attendees to define what information is critical to a user's job- displayed in an easy to understand graphical display with links directly into SQL*LIMS forms and reports. This class also covers the new data table features introduced in service pack 7. This is a half day PM course. |

SAPPHIRE R5.1 New Feature: eForm & eForm Builder
eForm is a brand new interface within SAPPHIRE R5.1. eForm serves as a means of gathering information via a flexible, dynamic, intuitive interface. Since eForm is a completely new concept, this will be the first time you will have the opportunity to play with this new interface! This training will serve as an Introduction to eForm and will cover how their multiple features are configured. This is a full day course. |
